Introduction to Kaspa in Kigali, Rwanda

Kaspa, a decentralized blockchain ecosystem, recently held an introductory event in Kigali, Rwanda, led by Kaspa ambassador Sheebar Kamusiime. The event took place at the Digital Transformation Center of Rwanda and was co-organized with Starknet Rwanda.

The attendees included local developers, Women in Tech-Rwanda, college tech students, local Web3 enthusiasts, and representatives from the Department of Emerging Technologies. During the 30-minute presentation, Sheebar discussed Kaspa’s strategy to tackle the Blockchain Trilemma and how it aims to address challenges in traditional systems, particularly around financial inclusion.

The event also provided an opportunity for networking and setting up Kaspa wallets using the Kaspium App. A total of 15 new downloads were recorded, and discussions on investing in Kaspa’s native currency, KAS, took place.
