In addition to reworking the mempool and validation logic, Kaspa has also revamped its API for easier integration and adopted WebAssembly (WASM) to pave the way for more user-centric applications. Furthermore, they’ve tackled the UTXO set bloat issue to create a more scalable network.
The transition to Rust on the mainnet is being carried out with precision, and Kaspa’s Testnet 11 has been operating at an impressive 10 blocks per second (BPS) since early 2024. This high-throughput system challenges the limits of concurrency in computation and communication, showcasing Kaspa’s technical expertise and innovative spirit.
